My Story
I was never meant to be the boss. I'd been in Recruitment for maybe two years when my mentor approached me to join him in a startup.
18 months later he died. I was now the boss and I threw everything I had at making my business a success.
We continued to grow, until we didn't. I started to burn out. My partner caught me at a low ebb:
"We need to get some advice."
Broken and weary I agreed. I thank all the Gods that I did.
The Light
We found a consultant, Annemarie, and she opened our eyes. What we wanted was a scalable business, which meant it couldn't rely on any named person. Including us.
We spent two years, fighting to create such a business. Making mistakes and backtracking numerous times.
But in the end, we had done it. We had created a Revenue Factory, and our growth became exponential.
Within 5 years of the Revenue Factory being a reality, we had sold up and become millionaires, at 35.
Imagine
A business that wins new clients in a predictable and calculated way, regardless of who stays and who leaves. Clients who see you as first choice, are loyal and value the work you do for them. Employees that stay because they feel valued, but also as if they are part of something bigger than themselves.

To confirm the Revenue Factory worked I founded a second recruitment business, Crimson, in 2001. We scaled fast and my suspicions were confirmed, I had a model that could be reproduced.
But, my heart wasn't in it. There was no excitement in repeating the past, so I stepped back in 2010 and left my partners to run the Factory. We sold in 2018 for £15m.
Since 2010 I have been working with business owners to build their own Revenue Factories.
Leaders who just wanted a guide through the maze to get to the result at the end, faster and with less hassle.
10 years of honing how I teach this method. Now I've launched the Pioneers to help as many recruiters as I can to build their own Revenue Factory.
But I still love that one on one connection. So I am keeping a certain amount of my time aside for Private Clients.

Board Session: A monthly one hour, 1:2:1 video session with Mike, where you set the agenda
Quick Questions: you can ask a reasonable number of questions between sessions, with a 48hr response time
Flair Resource Bank: access to the Flair collection of templates, how-to guides and other out of the box tools
Monthly fee: of £450 plus VAT payable by Direct Debit
Accelerate
A monthly check in with Mike plus an extra hour for him to do value add work on your behalf.
£825/month
Board Session: A monthly one hour, 1:2:1 video session with Mike, where you set the agenda
Expert Eye: An additional hour for Mike to complete work on your behalf that advances your transformation
Rapid Response Support: Emails within 24 hrs, plus one 999 phone call per month
Flair Resource Bank: Access to the Flair collection of templates, how-to guides and other out of the box tools
Growth Club Membership: Free membership of our Monthly Growth Club meetings (normally £75)
Monthly Fee: £825 plus VAT payable by Direct Debit.

How Do You Become a Private Client?
I only run a certain number of Pioneers Private Clients at a time. Partly because this is not for everybody, partly because I want to put time aside to keep helping the wider Pioneers network.
Being a Pioneers Private Client involves us working together. Closely, and openly. Over the years I've realised that sometimes, for whatever reason, I don't gel with some people in Recruitment. So, you must align with my values:
- Openness - more than anything you need to be open. If you've made it this far I can tell you have this one.
- Inquisitive - I will ask you to research, investigate and look into things. I can't do it for you, so you must be someone that likes to understand the new.
- Bold - sticking with what you have always done will get you what you have always got. I will ask you to change things, try new ideas. If you turn away from that then we won't work.
- Honourable - you must treat your clients, your candidates and your people with respect. That doesn't mean rolling over to anything they demand, simply that you seek to make the maximum ethical profit from them.
- Willing - you must follow my directions. If you implement just 99% of what I say that's like leaving the yeast out of the bread. That 1%, it's small, but it's important.

WARNING - TIME IS A FACTOR
As I said at the start, I have to limit the number of Pioneer Private Clients I take on because of the intense one-on-one time needed in order to provide you with results.
Therefore, it is physically impossible for me to work with more than a handful of people.
